PLANT GROWTH PROMOTING MICROBIAL INOCULANT

Tribus® Original was the product that inspired it all—laying the foundation for what would later evolve into Continuµm™.

It is a highly concentrated and resilient blend of three growth-promoting rhizobacteria species. The bacteria within Tribus help mobilize, solubilize, and chelate micro and macronutrients in the rhizosphere region of the soil for greater plant availability.

These rhizobacteria were selected for their durability, efficacy, and ability to produce a noticeably new level of root health for growers. Tribus was developed with one goal in mind: to give growers a biological product that worked—and worked consistently.

GUARANTEED ANALYSIS

Bacillus subtilis.......................................4x1010 CFU/mL
Bacillus amyloliquefaciens............2x1010 CFU/mL
Bacillus pumilus.....................................4x1010 CFU/mL

Total.............................................. 10 Billion CFU/mL (1x1010 CFU/mL)

CFU/mL = colony forming units per milliliter

How it works

1. Apply Tribus® Original at key stages of plant growth, from seed to harvest.

2. The beneficial microorganisms colonize the root system, promoting plant growth through mobilizing, solubilizing, and chelating micro- and macronutrients.

3. Increased nutrient use efficiency results in robust root development, more efficient water uptake, rapid plant growth, and increased yields.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Tribus® Original?

Tribus is a microbial inoculant built around beneficial Bacillus species. It is designed to support plant growth, root function, nutrient cycling, and overall crop performance.

Why does Impello sell Tribus® Original?

We sell Tribus because Bacillus species are among the most practical and durable microbial tools in agriculture. They are resilient, broadly useful, and well-suited to integration into grower programs.

How does Tribus® Original work?

Tribus supports crops through multiple microbial functions, including root-zone activity, nutrient availability, rhizosphere support, and plant-growth-promoting effects.

Why does Tribus® Original matter to growers?

Growers need microbial tools that are easy to use and consistent in real systems. Tribus helps bring beneficial biology into the root zone in a practical, field-ready way.

What does “CFU/mL” mean?

CFU stands for Colony Forming Unit, which basically translates to live microorganisms–in this case, live microorganisms in each milliliter of Tribus. Our Tribus Original is 10 Billion CFU/mL, meaning at least 10,000,000,000 bacteria in each mL of Tribus liquid will start growing and reproducing on plant roots.

What media can I use Tribus® Original in?

Tribus can be used in soil-based, soilless, and hydroponic systems. So regardless of whether you grow in peat, coco, rockwool, deep water culture, or in the field, Tribus can be used in your system.

Can I use Tribus® Original with conventional or organic nutrients?

Tribus can be used with both conventional and organic nutrients. We like to say it’s universally applicable, meaning it works in virtually any nutrient program.

How do I use Tribus® Original?

Tribus can be applied as a root drench or directly to the leaves as a foliar application. Tribus is designed to be mixed into irrigation water and applied to the soil or hydroponic system. Mix it into a nutrient reservoir like you would a typical nutrient

When should I use Tribus® Original?

You should apply Tribus as soon as your seeds or clones develop roots and continue applying all the way up until the day of harvest.

How much should I apply and how frequently?

We recommend different rates based on your environment and inputs, but the general rule of thumb is to apply Tribus at a rate of 1 mL / gallon of water or nutrient solution 1x a week or as frequently as every watering.
