Nero contains a highly selective duo of microorganisms that improve crop nutrition by fixing nitrogen and improving nutrient availability in high-value specialty and commodity crops. Nero behaves like a slow-release fertilizer (biofertilizer) because its living microorganisms provide nutrients from soil and atmosphere, continuously.

Applying the microbes in Nero during nitrogen-sensitive flower cycle can mitigate buffer or reduce the need for growers to apply synthetic nitrogen while still providing the plant with appropriate levels of the critical nutrient. Because microbes are providing the nitrogen in real time, it is not wasted like other forms of N can be.

Nero is available in two formats: as a slow-release fertilizer in granular form, is ideal for use at transplant, soil incorporation, top dressing, broadcasting, or in-furrow and as a soluble concentrate (SC) that is applicable in all systems.

The microorganisms in Nero produce a wide range of growth-promoting metabolites including nitrogenasephosphataseauxins (IAA)cytokininsgibberellins, and other extracellular enzymes that complement Impello's Continuµm and Tribus microbial inoculants without overlapping.

Nero™ Granular will be available in 1kg (2.2lbs) bags soon!

  • No environmental leaching
  • No disruption of flowering and fruiting cycles with excess N
  • Reduced costs of other nutrients
  • Steady supply of nutrients w/added protection from stress that come from a living rhizosphere community
