MEET THE FOUNDER

"Impello was created to bring next-generation biological solutions to better agriculture. Our biologics compliment and improve any growers program, for any crop, in all environments." 

Prior to co-founding Impello Biosciences, where Michael Key oversees product development, innovation, and implementation, he was the Director of horticultural R&D at Functional Remedies, the first USDA certified organic hemp farm in the United States.

Michael has also been a research assistant in the Center for Rhizosphere Biology at Colorado State University, where he earned his degree in Horticulture.

Microbial Inoculants

Bacterial Inoculants are bacterial inputs that promote plant growth and vigor. By introducing beneficial bacteria communities into your root zone - plants will uptake more nutrients and handle abiotic stress more efficiently.

Soil Amendments

A soil amendment is any material added to a soil to improve its physical properties. The goal is to provide a better environment for roots. To do its work, an amendment must be thoroughly mixed into the soil.

There are four types of organic nutrients: carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, and vitamins. In this section, we shall be discussing each of these organic nutrients and understand their functions better.
